One Step at a Time…
Healing isn’t a solo mission.
One of the most profound lessons I’ve learned through my own mental health journey is that we aren't meant to heal in isolation. Our healing is communal. While the path is yours, the walk doesn't have to be lonely. Therapy offers a dedicated space of support and care to fill the gaps that life often leaves behind.
Honoring the "Newness"
If you feel hesitant, know this: your feelings are valid. Starting therapy is an adjustment. It can feel uncomfortable, difficult, and a bit vulnerable. That’s okay. Any meaningful change usually starts with a bit of friction.
Finding Your "Right Fit"
I always tell prospective clients: If we aren’t a good fit, keep searching. Your healing depends on two things:
Taking that brave first step.
Taking it with a therapist who truly resonates with you.
Don’t be afraid to ask the hard questions during your consultation. You deserve a partner in this process who makes you feel seen and understood.
Your Goal Should Be...
To be clear, be confident, and stop overthinking the "perfect" way to heal. The beauty of this journey is that it is uniquely yours and it will continue to evolve as you do. Your goal should be to simply show up as you are, knowing that you are enough for the work ahead.
